I just got these Sofas for free and I didn't relized the previous owner smoked untill I had the Sofas in my home. I will get rid of them if I have to but I want to try to get the smell out. I washed the cushion covers three times and used 2 bottles of fabrize and one of lysol. It has help and they do mell better but it still smells.Any ideas or should I just chalk this up to a mistake and get rid of them. Help Please! |

Try putting a bowl of vinegar/water on the floor near the sofa. The vinegar will pull out the odor's in the couch. I had to do this a few times when we got our couch from a friend. If you have access to a upholstery cleaner, that will help too. HTH GL Mariann |

Vinegar and water doesn't disenfect, and Lysol is just like using Raid (Lysol is a registered pesticide) If you want me to tell you how to get rid of the smell for good and never have a revolving smell or stail call me or email me and I will get you the info. just to much to explain in this block:) 614-441-1905 or ten114life@yahoo.com. |
