Well, the weekend was good, meaning I managed to not gain back everything I've lost. So far (in one week) I've managed to lose 4.5 pounds. I'm pretty happy with this, especially since I wasn't really watching what I was eating this weekend. My grandparents had their 50th anniversary, so there was a big party and meal involved. I tried to be good though! |

Sounds like you are doing really well. The last event I went to was my 21yo son's wedding, and I was so good: I said "No" to cake and instead of punch I got a diet soda from the vending machine.
Keep up the good work! |

Sounds like you are sticking to it Stephanie. I know how hard it is. I just celebrated my 23 birthday and my husband bought me a pinwheel of chocolate cheesecakes, and he doesn't like cheesecake. So guess who gets to indulge in that. I called my sisters up so that they could help me enjoy. Good job on adverting your urges. |

Special occasions are the toughest. You don't want to seem rude by not eating what they have, but yet we are trying to lose weight, hello!!! It sucks sometimes. We have holidays coming up and I am trying to think only healthy things to make, so I can eat them. Lord Help ME!!!! |

Hi girls,
I haven't been able to exericise for the last two weeks. Last week my son was sick. This week I'm really sick. I had the worse viral infection ever. I had a painful sore throat for a whole day, vomiting for a whole day, nausea for a whole day, fever, cough, chest congestion, nasal congestion, nasal pressure and pain. On top of all of that, I still have to go to work since there's a big shortage of pharmacists. At least my mom has been watching my son so I could get a little more rest. I can't wait to get better so I can go back to exercising again. |

Thank goodness for grandmas that help out! Make sure you are good and well before you start your regular routine again. You don't want to overwork yourself into a relapse or injuries. |
