| HI everyone, I am looking to meet other military wives with children who live of base. My husband is currently on deployment and with him gone it seems to be kinda lonely with just me and the kids. |

Hi Erin,
YOu should try Meetup.com. When I was there in Oceanside I joined a few Mommy's groups and the kids and I enjoyed them alot. They are a bunch of great ladies who make you and your kids feel so welcomed. They have lots to do practically everyday of the week.
My two favorite groups there are the Oceanside Little Explorers and Carlsbad Mom and Tots.
Both groups are great and served different purposes for me. All the ladies in each group are very warm and welcoming. There wasn't any cliques to worry about or drama. They focused on the kids and having fun with one another.
