Hello to all
How's everyone doing?Everything is ok here....I haven't heard from anyone lataely. I hope everyone is doing well. My daughter recently turned 3 and thinks she is 6. It's like something switched the day she turned 3. She's something else. But I love her more and more each day!!! She is really enjoying her power wheels car she got. I think it makes her feel like a big girl when she drives it around. It's so cute. I will have to post some pics on here. How's everyone else's kids?

Hey. I wasn't sure if I wanted to respond to this today because it has been rough. Terrible twos and a cold do not mix well.

Other than that things are great!

Sorry he's sick. I hope he gets well soon. We need to get together sometime again. I had fun!

We're still alive, just been trying to stay a little more busy than usual. My husband left 3 weeks ago for 6 months, so it's been, kind of, hard emotionally not having him around and the house is way more empty and quiet it seems. I've been posting more pics of Abigail. Abi is getting so big, I cannot believe she is almost 2 months already. She's already the size of a 3-4 month old. Everything is still going good though, she is healthy and happy.

We're doing ok too. My husband found out on 16 Jan that his company, Circuit City, is going into liquidation so he has been off work. Thankfully he's still receiving a paycheck until the end of March. It is a bit rough having him home though. He has a job available that is an hour and half away, but I'm praying hard that he finds something more local.
On that note, since my husband is home, he decided he was tired of diapers and on Sunday had both our kids (ages 2 and 4) in underwear. I was impressed. We've been at this since then and it's getting there. Both kids have had accidents, but they are learning quickly that it doesn't feel good to go in their underwear.
I got a sinus infection and am getting over that. I saw my doctor about a spot on my back that has been numb off and on for about 2 years. I'll keep you all posted on what we find out.
Other than that, we doing very well and just taking things one day at a time.

I'm sorry to hear of your husband's company going under. We have Circuit City's in Houston. I will keep you in my prayers that he finds something close by your home. Billie I am also keeping you in my prayers too. I am sure it is hard being away from your husband, especially since you have a new baby together. I know when my husband went back to work it was very hard. He works nights and sleeps during the day. So, it felt like I was on my own and I was also lonely. So, I can only imagine what it feels like to have him gone for 6 months. I hope that it goes by fast and that he returns safe! I'm glad you all responded. It was good to hear from you both! Keep me posted on the latest!

Here is an update for us.  My husband decided to potty train the children (Yes both of them ages 2 and 4).  Tricia, our 4 year old, is doing well.  She has accidents when she starts getting tired of it or is very distracted.  Otherwise she does fine.  William, our 2 year old, he knows that the diaper is just easier and does everything he can to get the diaper back.  He refuses to use the potty.  I'm thinking of getting him a special potty so he can stand like daddy.  I'm sad to say this, but cheerios didn't work for him.  He just thinks it's funny to flush them down the toilet.

As for my husband's job, there are some openings in DC, Charlottesville, and one here in Richmond.  He has recruiters working for him to find him jobs.  I'm praying for at least an interview soon.  Time is running short.

As for me, I'm just bored.  I'm doing college work and all the housework gets done by the middle of the week.  I have a lot of time on my hands and around here there are very few people for playdates.  I'm praying to be able to start one here in my neighborhood.
