| Ok I just signed up for this group is there anyone actually in charge? I don't see any messages. I have an active 2 (almost 3) year old. I'm looking to possiblly get her into a playgroup or make friends. I was actively involved in a playgroup in Jacksonville, Florida and would like to get into one in Killeen area or at the very least develope friendships with other stay at home moms (SAHM) ... |

| I too signed up for this group hoping to get my daughter into a playgroup as I think she is getting bored just staying home with me. I think she may be too young for your daughter to get any quality playtime from though, does anyone else have any ideas for us? |

| One thing I've learned through my previous playgroup, is never underestimate the power of communication. Once I get back I have no problem starting to look for others in our area intersted in joining. My daughter is good with younger kids, but I know what you mean by trying to get her out... I had the same problem with my daughter at first. I know personally i joined a group hoping not ONLY for friends for my daughter but someone I could talk to... I'm all for starting slow. I really would like to get my daughter in a group like the one I was just apart of. |

| im not sure if theres a leader, but all we have to do is make a time and place im sure. the net is so scary. you never know whos gonna be at the other end of your conversation. well, the new park on ws young is awesome. we could do a weekend thing or something :) anyone interested? i have a 4 year old know-it-all daughter and a 19 month hurricane....oops... i mean son... lol |
