| Just wanted to join the group...I'm the mother of a very energetic, determined, stubborn, happy, and very independent 17 month boy named Devyn. He can be quite the handful and can't take no for an answer...all in all he is my heart's joy and raising him is the best thing in me and my husband's life. |

Hi Leona, Welcome to the club of mommyhood! This is a tough time for moms because their baby's that were so easy to control and keep on schedule, are now developing their own will and beginning to discover they are seperate from their mothers.They are soooo smart at this age. My only advice is to be a gentle guide for your son and don't expect perfection, this to shall pass. Start time outs and not spankings.They do understand. I recommend a wonderful book called "The happiest toddler on the block" buy it, read it, use it. It works!!!
