Ok girls,
I went ahead and put the pool date on the calendar. Patty if I am over stepping my bounds just slap me! I am a 'take charge' kind of person and know I can be a bit overbearing at times, sorry. Dayna, when you know for sure will you post the address directions and time on the calendar? We have a new member Gina. Welcome! Let's get this group rollin' girls! Yeehaw! I already told my husband Matt we're going to need a Mom's night out soon too. Lol!

I still say cocktails on the beach for a girls day out!! Or maybe we want to do a night out, you girls decide.
So, how safe is it to offer up phone numbers and driving directions etc on the site. Anyone can access the site right? And they can see we have children. What do you think girls??
I checked the calendar (thanks Brigette -- didn't even know that option existed) and see it's already on there. I'd be glad to post directions and all when we decide if we feel comfortable offering that info on the site. |

Hello,
Hey Dayna, I am not sure how safe it is posting personal info. on this site, I think Patty has to ok new members for them to get in? I am gunshy about putting my kids pictures up on the web or my home info. because perverts could have access to them, but as far as an meeting address elsewhere goes I think it would be ok because everyone will be there and if a pervert shows up (which I seriously doubt) I will be doin' some major butt kicking. Maybe when we choose to hold meetings at our own houses we should exchange phone numbers when we see eachother? Any ideas? Hey Patty, I know you are busy Isabella keeps you on the run! Lol! She is SO cute! Anyhow, I hope you all have a great day and we will talk to you soon!

Hey Girls,
I don't really trust the website either. It's probably better to email each other for that kind of info. I have a group on the yahoo website and that's safe I get to allow or block people from snooping around the site. But this website anyone can look through the site. It does not even need to be a member.
Well I haven't had a mom day or night out in two years hahahahahah. So it would be very nice to go to something. For it really depend on the time we are going to do something. If it's in Orange County during the day I can drop off the kids with grandparents, but at night they won't drive here. Let's see.

You guys are always free to add anything on the calendar. The group is for all of us and all of our ideas. Again we are here to support each other. Being a parent is a lot of work, it takes a lot of time and effort and we need all the help we can get!!!

As you can tell from our emails, Patty arranged a bbq date for us and we did that last Sunday at a nearby park. It was really fun and nice to meet other moms (duh that's why we're here). We look forward to meeting you. Do you think you would like to join us for the family pool party and bbq on Sunday, July 29th in OC? |

Hi girls,
I agree with you Gina you never know who's going to get ahold of your info. I am up for ideas for a mom's night but during the week I don't have a sitter until 7:30-8pm until middle of July, otherwise I can do a weekend night? I've got lots of ideas...
