New to the site

Hello, I live in Huxley but my parents live in Urbandale so we're there often. We tried going to daycare so my son could be around kids/kids his age but it just didn't work out. There was just TOO much sickness going around so now we're looking for new playgroups to join. My son is almost 14 mos old and we have one on the way. He needs the interaction with other kids and mom needs the interaction with other adults!

Hi. You might want to check out a MOPS group. It has been a great experience for me. I go to on a Hope a church in WDM 60th and Jordan Creek. We meet 1st and 3rd Friday on the month. There is child care and the moms get together and do activities. We also meet once a month at different places and let the kid play the moms chat. I think you can find more info at MOPS.com. Also there is a web site meetup.com and that can find diff. groups in your area. Hope this helps. Lisa
