Target
I have found that just about all baby items are less expensive at Target. Most things are cheaper even than Walmart. Also, their generic brands are pretty good. For example, Johnson's baby shampoo is more than 3 times the price of Target baby shampoo, which is nearly identical. It even smells the same.

So, have you done the Wal-Mart thing too? I mean is Wal-Mart the same in the price range for the generic or is Target better. I pretty much do the Wal-Mart generic brand "Great Value" or "White Cloud" for the baby stuff and its pretty cheap compared to everything else at least 30 to 50% difference sometimes.

I found that the Walmart generic diapers were not as good- they leaked a lot. Target generic are just as good as name brand diapers and they have never leaked so far. The price on Luvs just went up a little at BJ's, so if I happen to be at Target I buy theirs

I think Target might be slightly higher than walmart diapers, but worth the amount of laundry I save.

Odd, cause I used the Wal-Mart diapers on Austin for almost a year and he only leaked 1 or 2 times. That was usually either during nap time or at night. So I guess each child is different I guess.

Yes, I guess all babies are different, because I also had bad luck with Huggies, and many other parents say they are great.

Hey ladies, I use the Wal-mart parent's choice diapers and have had no problem with them. I have tried Target's brand and was not impressed, the best part is that the parent's choice diapers are 10 dollars and some change for a 68 pack of my son's size 3 versus the 16 or 17 dollars for less diapers in the pampers brand. I love saving 6 dollars per pack. I also buy all Wal-mart brand groceries, they are just as good to me. And on average Wal-mart is about 3 cents cheaper than target. I don't like to make multiple trips but depending on what it is I usually prefer Target. Obviously gas is an issue these days. And for everything other than groceries, like toiletries, laundry care, vitamins, cleaning items and such, I have found an awesome wholesale non-toxic product company. They make everything safe for the kids, the home, the environment and of course safe for my pocket book. I am not a coupon clipper, cause I usually by store brands.

I like to shop at Family Dollar, which is a discount store. Its not quite a dollar store, but the prices are so much cheaper than Wal-Mart, Target, KMart. They even sell Pampers brand and Johnson & Johnson, but two to three dollars cheaper than the other stores. They also sell all kinds of laundry needs, household cleaners, name brand food, name brand pet food, and some of the stores sell really cute baby clothes.

Ladies,
I wanted to let you know about Eckerd drug store going out of business, Rite Aid bought them out. So all their Eckerd brand is 50% off right now. I have bought their wipes, diapers, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper and paper products, etc all for 1/2 price. I use the diapers during the day and haven't had a problem with leaking. I use those between him going in and out of the pool. I don't feel bad if he's only in it for an hour or so. Check your local Eckerd and see all the items you can save on. I probably spent too much but won't have to buy toiletries any time soon.
