Waking up in middle of night...
Hi- I have a 8 Month old little girl. And she has since cutting her last tooth, got in the habbit of waking up about the same time EVERY night.. She knows how to sleep 12 hours easliy at night time... She just wants to snuggle with mommy and daddy in their bed, and that causes us to not sleep as good as if she was in her own bed. Does anyone have suggestions for teaching her how to get her self back to sleep? How long should I let her cry for? Help!! ;) THanks

I had the same problem with my son after he had a bad cold. I talked to the doctor about it at his appointment. He suggested letting him cry it out. He would wake up crying a few times a night each time lasting about 40 min, it made for a rough couple of nights but it was worth it, now he sleeps 12hrs at a time without waking up. I hope this help. Its not easy but I would do it again.

Ok, Thank you that does help. I was trying to let her cry it out last night, but it just wasnt stopping after 10 min. I wasnt sure how long i could go. I do have an appoint for the baby in a few weeks. She used to sleep so nicely, and so I am going to really try it tonight, I just am glad her room isnt right by ours. :) Thank you for your adivce, how old is your baby?
