Hi Brook,
I am also new . I am a 25 SAHM of a 17 m little girl. I love her to death, but we all need some time to our selves, especially when you do not work. I also do not have alot of friends w/ toddlers. I feel for you.

Welcome Brook! My name is Amanda. My 3 month old daughter Mackenzie was born March 20th. I know both feelings.

I am new here too! My son is 8 months old. I am a navy wife and my husband is currently deployed. I am in Virgina and all of my family is in Texas, so I can totally relate! I was just given some advice from one of my friends. She said that spending all of your time with your child isn't good. Even if you get a babysitter for an hour and just go for a drive to Starbucks then turn around and come back you are in a better mood and much happier to see your child and the are happy to see you too. You have to have time for yourself! Hang in there!

Hi Brook , we are two now , my baby boy is also 6 months and a half , I am 28 and first mom . Let me tell you something and this is very important , give sometime just for you , try to get somebody taking care for your baby maybe a couple of hours and get lost for that time , take a walk , eat some ice cream alone, take a long bath or just relax .. I love to take walks by myself that is good I return renovate .. good luck !!

Does your daughter sleep at night? Mackenzie does not sleep all day, maybe a couple power snoozes but thats it. However she is very good about going to bed and sleeps through the night. Perhaps you and your husband could have quiet time together?

Brook,

Where do you live? I have an 8 month old little boy and I went through the same thing. I am a people-person and went through lonely times as well. It is great to make a schedule for yourselves and to get out of the house! I make sure to arrange play dates with other friends and their kids, go on walks, shop, etc...
