How do you keep your kids busy in the winter?

We are starting to get cabin fever around here and are getting tired of the same toys. What are all of you doing to keep your kids busy since we can't go outside and play? Sarah

Hi Sarah, I tried to reply to this earlier, but was not logged in so I do not know if you got my message. Anyway just in case I said Ryan loves the McDonalds indoor play area, they have a section for under 3. We've been visiting friends to find new toys, building tents and farms inside. I do bundle him up if the weather is decent and pull him around the yard in his sled. If you are interested in getting together for a playdate, let me know. I live between Laporte and Michigan City off of 400. Amy

We are also getting the fever really bad and looking for stuff to do but my son will be 3 in a few weeks and I just do not know how he will do with such little ones

Sorry I never got back with you guys, we've had a 2nd Birthday and lots of family in and out, and an extra day at work!

My daughter does fine with the older kids. My husband's aunt babysits her on Tuesday and she watches her 5 year old grandson with her and she loves to play with him.

Would anyone like to meet up at a park? My husband is back to taking his motorcycle to work (weather permitting) so I have my car back and can actually go somewhere now! yeah! We like Creek Ridge, or there is a little park in Trail Creek we like too. I'm off on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

Sarah, I would. Creek Ridge is right down the road from my house. Trail Creek is close by too. I am off Saturday if you are going you can call me at 575-7569 (home) or 363-3655 (cell) I would love to put some faces with the names and Ryan (17 months) is loving the outdoors this year.

Saturday sounds good, and the weather looks like mostly sunny. Creek Ridge sounds good too. We haven't been there for awhile again. I was thinking maybe 11am before lunch? Does Ryan take a nap at a certain time? Lidia usually crashes at about 2 still.
