I said no never just because it is either my husbands parents or my grandparents but if it was a stranger I would be worried something terrible and feel guilty the whole night but since it is family I am able to relax have fun and enjoy the evening or the weekend if it is a over night visit.

I have a seven month old son, and his father and I have not had a date night since before he was born. I am his main caregiver, and am lucky if he will stay with his Daddy for an hour or two while I run errands. Until recently, I haven't felt comfortable leaving him with anyone. Over Christmas, we attempted to go see a movie and leave him with the grandparents, but he wouldn't have that. We made it as far as the theater before we had to turn right back around. He had been screaming since we left the house.

Someday, we will get some time alone....

Silver. I used to be that way with my now 3 year old daughter. It is very hard at first but eventually, your going to love it. I personally put "no never" because with my 3 year old, I can trust her to let me know if something isnt right (cause she is a blabber mouth lol) but when it comes to my 11 month old, I still have the umbilical cord attached to my uterus a bit. I only am "no never" if it is my mom.
