Poll: Do you think that it is ok to let your babies...
Comments:
I am breastfeeding and my son sleeps with me about 90% of the time. However, I would not suggest this for a formula fed baby. The connection is not the same between mother and baby, and the necessity isn't as strong. It is much easier to put formula fed babies in their own bed, and you can't give them a bottle in bed, so you have to get up with them anyway..
Silver, I somewhat agree with you. I was told to put my first in bed with me to up my milk supply (of course my midwife taught me how to lay down and feed) but with my second I absolutely will NEVER put her in bed with me. My 3 year old still never gives me alone time and space on the bed. Its a very hard habbit to break.
I have coslept with all three and my older 2 only come to bed when they are sick, worried or I hear them fall out of bed and can't get back to sleep. I never had the problem of not getting our bed back. By 9 months my first 2 slept in their beds through the night, my 3rd is only 7 months. I love having them close but I also love that they like their space as well :-)
