i think to many people try to step in when they shouldnt because they dont know the situation and a parent should not have to deal with strangers while trying to deal with what is going on in the moment with their child. witch is always more important than trying to clue a strnger in on whats going on

People should mind thier own business -- but, I know how I feel when I see someone yelling or spanking thier child/ren in public -- you should not do that!

My son has severe APD. He has tantrums now at 5. I've had this exact thing happen to me. People wonder why a 5 year old is having a tantrum.... it's because he doesn't understand- literally. It's an awful thing to have to deal with in the first place and a stranger getting aggrivated just makes it worse. No matter what I say or do, it's like I'm speaking to him in a foreign language. I think it's a good idea to first tell them that they have a disability that is related to this behavior and then tell them to mind their own business!
