my daughter is 18 months..sense 7 mths old she screams and cries and make me feel bad if i dont hold her..play longer..and i need to break this habbit!! i mean she would stay up till she passes out around 12pm unless you force her to a dark room and rock her and give her a bottle in bed! i want to break this habbit! i have another baby on the way in october!

I didn't put anything since the younger ones nurse to sleep and the older ones read stories peacefully and then turn off their lights on their own at a reasonable hour.

Our son and daughter seem to have reversed their rolls. Our daughter used to screem at night and our son used to go down without any fuss, now our son screems for a half hour to a hour then crashes, now our daughter only makes a little grunt when she hears that it is bed time but when we lay her down she is queit even if she doesn't fall asleep right away. Our son is 16 months old and she is almost 2 and a half. Our son also screems when one of us leaves the room and it takes him about 10 min to quiet down.

My dd doent really cry herself to sleep but some times she fights sleep and my hsband and myself do not deal with her not wanting to go to sleep she has gotten much better over the last couple of months. She now knows that we do not deal with her staying up and sometimes she is so tired she will take her self upstairs and go to sleep without a problem at all. I am so heppy thsat I can say that.
