My son has a pet tree frog, who has a toad visiting right now, but the toad will be released when we are done with our homeschooling unit study on frogs and toads (the frog stays though). He also considers the ants in his ant farm to be pets, but I don't really define them as such. I am rather fond of Rana (the frog) though.
