We take our children up to my husband's parents cottage in Northern Michigan every summer They usualy meet us up there. They have a speed boat and we have a pontoon boat that we practialy live on every weekend. We have yet to use the speed boat because we feel that it is just too unsafe for our children until they get older but we all get on our pontoon boat and go slow around the lake or my husband and I go fishing on it in the cooler hours of the day. We prefer the pontoon boat since it is safer and larger than the other boat, our daughter hates her life jacket but we make our children wear them anyway. My family has a cottage in the woods in Northern Michigan that we go to with my grandparents a couple times each summer too.
