We were new in town at the time of her birthday so we just had a small party, just the 3 of us. I made her a cake and a special dinner and she opened her presents all at home. Her next one we will do more cause we moved back home.

For my daughter's first birthday she had just gotten out of the hospital so we kept it low key at home with her grandparents only! This year hopefully will be much better for her!

For our daugher we went to the dollar store to get the decorations I had a cake made for her and that was the most Expensive thing for the party it was about $11.00 We had pizza for dinner which my father in law bought for everyone. March is our son's first birthday we will probaly get the decorations and plates and such at the dollar store again I still have some of my daughters decorations left from last March so I problay wont even have to spend as much as we did for hers even though we didnt have to spend much.

We rented a party house type thing for events and had over 100 people there. We had clowns also. The most expensive thing was the food. We had chicken & beef fajiatas, rice, beans, & all the fixins. His 2nd birthday was just as big! I hope we can do the same each year. It's one day out of the year that is his day. I rarely got birthday parties when i was younger so I don't want him to miss one!
