Poll: Do you screen your calls?

I have a friend I can never get off the phone with. I love her dearly, but she will talk and talk 'til no end. Sometimes I dont answer when I dont have the time to talk long. I hope this doesn't make me a bad friend.

I do the same thing Melanie. Sometimes I just don't have the time, or I don't know who is calling, so I just wait until later. I let the machine get it. :)

I do the same also. Sometimes I am just to busy or to tired to carry on a conversation so I just call back when I have time and more energy to talk. I don't feel that makes a person "bad". Everyone needs their own time and it may not coincide with the person calling you.

I answered No..but after thinking about it, I guess in a way, I do. If its a number Im not familiar with, I debate about answering it, sometimes I do, sometimes I dont. If it is someone I know then it depends on the mood. The only person I sometimes dont answer for is my mother b/c I talk to her at LEAST 3 times a day. (she drives me crazy) I will also not answer if I am busy and know I wont be able to give the person my full attention.

We do not have a home line so I screen my calls because I sometimes get calls from people from out of state calling for whoever had the phone number before me since it is somewhat new.
