I read about all of the different ingridients in a flu shot and how they chose what strand they think is going to hit and the % and it is not worth it in my opinion I have never had one and neither has my hubby or kids. What bothers me is what it contains it is too risky for me. I had a hard time deciding on regular shots so I am not going to add to it.

My dad and I always get a reaction to the shot, since you can't get the flu from the flu shot but you can have a reaction, BUT I wasn't going to risk my son getting the flu so he got it and hasn't had any kind of reaction...and hasn't gotten sick...but since this is his first flu shot he has to get it in 2 doses so he'll get the other dose when he goes in for his 12mo check up.

The flu shot is worthless IMO. If you are lucky and only come into contact with the variety of flu the "experts" guessed would be the correct strains this year, if might help some, but in the meantime, it weakens your immune system so you are less likely to fight off any other strains of flu (as well as any other germs you might come in contact with). Plus, those shots have all sorts of highly toxic ingredients that no sane person would inject in their children if they realized how poisonous they are. Please, if you are considering getting the flu shot for your child, look at what you are really injecting in them. The flu would come and go, but a lot of those ingredients are stuck in the child's body for life.

I've never even considered getting my kids the flu shot. I had never had it until I started working at this job (in a hospital) Even though I dont come in contact w/ patients they offer it to us, and I figured I would get it just to see. I got it last year and this year b/c the people who had been here for a while said that if someone gets it everyone gets it (theres 85 of us in my office) so I got it last year and this yr and I didnt have any symptoms and I didnt get the flu. (knock on wood. lol) I do get congested and have a stuffy nose sometimes, but I would prolly get a lot worse than that without the shot.
