I was raised by a Jewish grandfather and a Methodist grandmother, 60% of my family is Catholic (I am Mexican so it is the popular religion down there) My husband thinks religion is a waste because all it does is start wars but I guess I would consider myself Christian. Don't go to church often because the pastor we liked that got my hubby back into religion for a while moved to a church about an hour from here and the new pastor we got is very "blah" We have a couple of friends that are Jahovas witnesses and they are fun to talk to so we just try and keep an open mind |

I said Christian - non denominational. Believe in God, but dont go to church. I dont believe you have to be in a specific building to live a "Godly" lifestyle. I am far from perfect, but I would still consider myself a Christian. |

Like my grandfather says "You're not a car if you stand in a garage so going to church doesn't make you a Christian", in other words I believe in Christ but I don't go to church...and I'm not a car haha. |

Christian! and very Proud. I attend church Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday nights and Sunday mornings and any other special event during the week. My church family is very important to me. No, going to church does not make you a Christian, but faith is built upon hearing the word of God so you need the true word of God to be poured into your spirit.
Jesus is coming back soon. Make sure your covered by his love.
If you really are a true Christian, see you after the rapture, in heaven!
God Bless |

No, you don't have to go to church to be a Christian but it does help you in your walk with God and spiritual growth. A Christian is someone who holds to 3 basic beliefs:
1. Jesus was born of a virgin.
2. Jesus died on a cross (for our sins) and rose on the 3rd day.
3. The bible is the infalliable word of God and is without error. |

I was raised a Catholic, and my core beliefs were molded by the religion. My husband was raised as a non-practicing Jew. We baptised our son Catholic, but are raising him in what we lovingly call the "be a nice person" religion. :) |

I am pagan and my husband is an atheist. I take the kids to a Unitarian Universalist church to aid them in finding their own path as they get older. They also go to family friendly rituals with me for the sabbats though. |
