I wouldn't say I feel socially isolated since I had them, I feel socially isolated since I stopped working about a year ago. I love being with my children but I feel like i'm not part of the real world and it's starting to show!

I never felt socially isolated till we only had one car and then it was hard for us to get out and go places.

I have been a shm for 5 years now and it is really starting to bother me lately. I would love to go to work but don't see spending my whole paycheck on daycare expenses. I had a pretty good social system of other Moms and kids up until we recently moved far away from where we used to live. Now I am starting to feel really isolated but I guess I am just going to have to give it some time. I am definately going back to work as soon as both kids are in school but that won't be for another 3 years. Yikes!!!
