Mine didnt get it either... still doesnt. i have been the one to sacrifice throughout the entire time we've had children. I had to switch jobs and budget more, and Im the one who stays home from work when they're sick, and can rarely go out w/ adults, b/c we dont always have a babysitter. He hasnt had to sacrifice much at all, if anything.

My hubby didn't give anything up (he enjoys wine or beer now and then). However, our agreement is that, since I am unable to indulge with him, that any night he drinks alcohol, I get a massage. :)

Neither one of us had to give anything up when I got pregnant. We don't drink, smoke, or party and I was already drinking decafe coffe and pop cause the cafene made me sick long before I got pregnant. It never entered my mind that either one of us had to give anything up for our baby.

My Husband willingly gave up some of his sleep so that I could get some while I was pregnant for our son because when I got pregnant for our son we had our three month old girl with acid reflux so when she woke up at night he would tell me to go back sleep and he would take care of her even though he had to get up early for work.
