I do MOST of my shopping at supermarkets, but also frequent BJ's Wholesale for paper goods and meats. I probably make a large shopping trip there every other month or so...

I use the supermarket, but if i could afford the wholesale stores like Costco's or Sams Club i would definitely do that. I have 4 kids and buying in bulk would be easier and cheaper in the long run, but I dont do it.

Most of my shopping is at Supermarkets out of convenience, location, and time.
I prefer shopping at Costco though, because the things we use alot of are better to buy in bulk-but it takes 20 mins to get there, and I never know how long my daughter will "last" before getting cranky in there, so it's tough to go as often as I'd like.
However, we hit the Farmer's Mkt 2x a week as a family outing for our produce. I like to support local when possible, it gets us out in the fresh air exercising together, and you can't beat the local farms for freshness unless you grow your own.

We shop at Super Walmart and Meijer about twice a week and we seem to go to Sam's Club about once a week to every two weeks. It helps that Walmart is across the street and Meijer and Sam's Club are only 3 miles away and across the street from each other.
