There is really nothing that you can do. It just your horomones getting back to normal.

It can take up to about a year after it starts falling out to fully get back to normal. I'm a hairdresser & seen it many times with clients but hate it now that it's my turn!

My hair would fall out in clumps...I swear I thought I was going to go bald! It's not that you're losing your hair...we lose hair everyday, but during pregnancy, we don't lose as much, so after pregnancy, the body releases the "stored" hair we kept during pregnancy. Normal yes, but not fun. You're not alone! :)

No - I lost it while I was pregnant in LARGE amounts (at least for what I was expecting)...Then after I had the baby it grew back and I couldn't put my hair in a ponytail b/c I had all these short little out-of-place hairs!

About 4 months postpartum I lost my extra "pregnancy" hair.
It was right around the time my baby started losing her baby hair too!

I didn't have problems loosing hair during or after pregnancy nor have any of my friends or family and I have never heard of that before, but it sounds rather scary and I am glad that didn't happen to me.
