for me it's a matter of not really having a routine or knowledge of what to do

I agree it costs a lot, but my problem is that I have two young kids and my husband isn't exactly a clean freak, so there's always so many better things to do than spend an hour a night at the gym.
Option #6: I always work out better/longer outdoors! The fresh air is invigorating.
We also have freeweights & some machines at home if I felt so inclined to use them (which I really don't, they are more for my hubby). :)
Its hard to take time for myself! I'd rather walk outdoors or involve my kids in healthy activites. Eat right & Be active, without the expensive membership is more my style!
My gym doesn't have childcare and my husband is a deadbeat who won't watch our daughter so I can go. I find time to do some yoga at home after she's in bed though.
I agree with Melissa, it is so expensive and then with family and school and going back to work part time when would I really find the time to go? Its easier to get my exercise while chasing my 12 month old around the house/yard or taking a walk while strolling her.
