Of course things have changed....anyone who says no is lying. Having a baby is tough work, and can get stressful.....when you're in it together, you lean on eachother, but also can sometimes take your stress on eachother as well. It's about finding time to regroup, relax, and enjoy the baby and eachother that helps get you through.

don't know how to describe our first year. although we had dated for 7 years prior to our marriage, there were still some things we found out about each other during that first year. some things were difficult. i almost walked out once, but we worked through it. and i guess we are still working on it, because although some issues can be fixed, some can't. i can't change him. and some things don't 'go away'. you have to understand each others' expectations and decide how best to support each other if you are going to stay married. it takes both people.

Of course having children changes everything, but when we got married everything stayed the same. It was after we had kids is when everything changed, as we expected it to.

I would have to say yes but I not so sure it has anything to do with being married but more with growing up. I'm not the same person I was 9 years ago. I think it would be true married or not.

Yes. We communicate much better now, and we are more realistic. Sure we fight, but we know each other so well now, that we always have a LOT to laugh about.
When we were dating, he was gentlemanly, fun and sweet, and I think the longer we are together, the more he develops that side of himself.
He is a very doting & loving hubby & father.
