Usually we can sit and talk like adults, but when we don't I have a breakdown and start crying uncontrolably after holding it in so long.

My husband hears attitude in my voice even when I an not mad. He gets defensive about everything. I double think about what I want to say before I say it and will talk in my sweetest voice and he still hears a tone in my voice. I feel like I can't even have a conversation with him for fear that he is going to get upset because I said something wrong. The problem is he tells me the exact same thing. But for the most part I don't get mad until he tells me I'm getting an attitude. It's a never ending battle and I don't know what to do anymore.

Dr. Phil did an episode one time where he was talking into the male and female couples ears by cordless microphone and he would help them to see/hear what the other was saying and what they needed to say. I tell my husband all the time that I wish he could have Dr. Phil in his ear telling him I'm not doing what he thinks I'm doing.

We dedicated our lives to Christ and ordered this DVD called Marriage Today and our lives have never been better. We have been together almost ten years and it's like it was in the beginning only better now that we put our faith and trust in God!
God Bless you all!

We have never had problems with communication. We always talk about everything, I hope that never changes.
