Poll: How many of you are truely happy in your marriage?

We go through rough patches, but we are always able to get past it and I think that is what makes a great marriage. I would hate to be in a relationship where there was never any arguing, that would be lack of communication.

Rachel, all I can say about marriage is that it is hard work. So many people today think that when things start to get rough or do not go as they think it should they would rather just walk away rather than try to work on it. Marriage is a wonderful thing as long as you realize that it is not always going to be roses.

I am so happy I had always hoped to have a good marriage but with my husband it is just plain easy. We have about 99% of the same views on things. My first marriage was a nightmare, no communication and a lot of mental, emotional and physical abuse.
