Last year was my first Mother's Day, and it was spent with just my hubby and our son, lounging around, doing whatever we felt like. It was wonderful, but I got grief from the MIL about not including her in the plans. This year I'm sticking to my guns and doing it again. What do you all do for Mother's Day? |

Last year was my first Mother's day as well and we were in China adopting our daughter, we only had her 5 days!
I was sick as a dog that day, but my husband, daughter and step-son were all there to share it with me. :)
I have to say even though I didn't feel good, we stayed in the hotel and watched movies and ordered room service, (I had toast) it was the perfect Mother's Day! |

This year for Mother's Day, I will be in Branson, Missouri getting married. And I can't wait. I will be down there for a week enjoying my time with both sets of parents, my new husband, my son, and my best friend and her family. |

On Mother's Day my husband usually takes our son out for a bit in the morning so I can lounge around, sleep, etc and then we spend the day together having fun. For dinner we usually then have both sets of parents come over...this year it will only by my inlaws since my folks are at their summer place up north. |

sleeping in for sure! :)
Besides that, even though a massage is heaven, I'd probably just like to spend a nice day with Hubby & kids doing something fun together out of the house.
OK maybe I'd get a massage during naptime. :) |
