| My husband keeps telling me that our son is the only child that I get because of all the prices of everything keepes going up. |

My husband and I just adopted our son, and it is amazing.The cost is definitely intimidating, but adopting through social services is very cheap. Also, there is a federal tax credit of $10,000 for adoption, and most states have a tax credit as well. Some employers, including my husband's, also help out with adoptions!
There is such a need for families for children here in the States, esp. black children. People from other countries actually come here to adopt our black kids, esp. boys, because not enough people here are willing to do so! That broke my heart.
