I work full time from home (actually I'm home half the time writing reports and the other half out completing insurance inspections). I find that it's nearly impossible to take care of a 6 month old and complete my work at the same time. Then when my husband comes home, I have to get out to all of my work appts. When I get home, I have to squeeze in house work, cooking, errands, spending time with my son and my husband... I wish I could I could be a SAHM...

I put sahm because they don't have to answer to a boss and hours.

A part-time sahm gets to get out of the house and interact with people her own age, but a sahm is pretty much that-a SAHM. I am a sahm, and I would love to interact with adults more than what I get to. Plus I would still be able to spend time with my 2 children and husband.

I have done both and I feel that they all stink! I am at home all the time and wish for some space but when I worked away from home I felt the guilt and frustration from being away.

I think it depends. My husband thinks I need to wait on him hand and foot because I don't work and he gets on me when things aren't done. I do have a boss...My husband! I work 24/7 and then have to ask for money.

I answered out of the home full time, although I have a part time job, I'm still a full time mom. Sometimes I have to go to work to get a break.
