Poll: Has your toddler ever gotten Athlete's Foot?
Comments:
Our son Anthony is 19 months old, and has gotten Athlete's Foot twice now. We use anti-fungal cream to treat it per our pediatrician, (who said it's unusal for a toddler's feet to sweat/develop Athlete's Foot, but not harmful, just annoying). So my baby has sweaty feet - Great! HA! Poor little guy!

kids haven't had that, but they do have warts (even though I don't let them play with turtles and frogs!! ) Poor Amelia has had one on her heel since before she could walk. she doesn't complain, and it doesn't affect her walking, so i hate to traumatize her by having it frozen off. i'm scared to put that salicylic acid on such tender little foot.
My daughter has had this and also planter's warts! She is 7 and has always had sweaty feet and hands. I try to have her change her socks more often and use powder. This seems to help. Last summer she got her 1st planters wart. I thought it was just a caulous and ignored it. Well, it turned into about 6 warts on her feet (Poor thing)!! It took about 3 months to disolve them with the medicine (I was to scared to use the acid also)
our daughter had it from the time she was six months until she was about 3 years, we have been to the doctor several times for cream and oral meds. she is just very prone but usually it takes about 4-6 weeks of cream to completely cure it.
My daughter got it from wearing the clog type shoes without socks and getting them wet in the summer. The cream helped and we made her wear soaks. Took a few weeks to heal
