My son was down to one feeding at night when he was 16 months old. My daughter who is 6 months is going strong....hope she nurses longer, maybe till 2.

I had to stop nursing at 1 month because my son had thrush and then gave it to me and everytime tried to nurse it would hurt, even when I pumped.

I didn't wean him per say, he slowly weaned himself. We nursed until Anthony was 13 1/2 months old, then stopped...it was harder for me than it was for him, I think.

I nursed my daughter til 14 months. she was only nursing twice a day. I had to stop due to problems with my second pregnancy. She acted like she could of cared less :) i think i needed it more lol But i am now nursing my son who is almost 7 months and going very very strong i hope to burse him til atleast a year!

I would like to had at least 2 feedings till my daughter was 2 but she is almost 14 months old and down to the morning feeding, she started weaning herself when she was about 10 1/2 months. She just seams to busy to lay down and eat so I am running out of milk. I think that she will be all done by the end of June middle of July at the very latest.
