We actually just sold our home in the bay area and moved back into our rental condo. We decided that I would be a stay at home mom and the mortgage on both places wouldn't work. Selling the bigger of the two made more since for us. |

with a big dog we have to have a large yard for her to run. it wouldn't make sense for us to not own our own home. |

My husband and I are in the process of trying to buy a home we're currently renting. It's an investment property, so hopefully the rent will pay the mortgage and I can continue being a SAHM. |

Right now we are renting a town house while my husband is stationed in Virginia. We own a house in Montana and have it rented out to pay the morgage so that we could afford both. |

My husband and I are now renting an apartment. We own a home in Colorado and have it rented out the pay the mortgage. I must say thought, that renting the apartment is costing more than our mortgage payment. |

We are renting a home for 1,100 a month its crazy. we cant buy a house because are credit is bad and we r only 25. we had are credit stolen and its just been down hill from there i want to apply for a ch 13 but just dont have the extra money. Living in an apt with 2 kids and one on the way just isnt an option we would be kicked out for being loud.lol |

We rent a house here in Ballantine,Mt(about 7 miles out) and only pay 575/month! It is a nice 3 bed. 2 bath with an attached garage. We just got lucky because rent here in Montana is not cheap. We have owned 2 homes, and were hurting financially. This is the only way to go for us as a house payment would double that. |

We just renting our home out and are in the process of buying either another home or a manufactured home.....either way it will work better for us since it will be a lot closer to family and friends as well as cheaper |

We rent the main floor and upstairs of a farmhouse. The landlady lives in the 'basement' part of the house. Its pretty big and the rent is really good and its on a horse farm (I love horses!) |

We bought a house about 5 years ago and doing a 600 sq ft addition since we just added another baby to our family, we needed more room, It seemed to be cheaper to add on vs. try to sell our house and buy another.. Also I wanted to stay home and if we bought another house our house payment would probobly have gone up as well so I would of had to go back to work.. I love being a stay at home mommy!! |

I put that ours is a townhouse, but really it's the end of a 'row'. There is a twin or duplex that got attached to ours years ago. Ours was the first house in the neighborhood (it's over 100 years old!). So I figured maybe townhouse was the closet option. This is our first house and I think I could live here until my dying day. It has an extremely long backyard while not being too narrow (most yards in my area are short and narrow b/c of ally's that go behind most of the houses). So the kids have PLENTY of room to play despite our garden, shed and parking 'pad. |

My husbands Father passed away last December, and we inherited his (pre-fab) mobile home in New Hampshire. We now own 8 acres of land, a pool, gazebo, and the mobile home with a huge deck that goes down to the pool. We are going to build our house on this land in about 5 years....looking forward to it!!! ;) |

We moved into our house a year and a half ago. It's my dream home. It was DIRT cheap, as it was a foreclosure. It's a 4,000 sq foot home with 4 bedroom, 3 bathrooms, full basement, formal dining room, pool, indoor hot tub, two decks, a huge porch and we are 5 miles from the lake/beach. I love it. It's 3 times the size of our old house and it was 20,000 dollars CHEAPER! I am truely blessed. |
