It depends on the food and right now he insist on eating with a fork no matter what the food is.

I answered fork but he uses both a fork and a spoon

I put with her whole hand, but it depends on what she is eating. She likes her fork and spoon too.

Generally with fork since he like like "chunks" of food. However occassionally just with entire hand.

Thank god he is finally wanting to use a fork I hated the dirty hand thing.

My son is very good with a fork and a spoon. He basically taught himself. He decided it was time and wouldn't let me touch it anymore- He wanted to do it!

I started teaching my son the fork and spoon at 12 months old he is now 3. Hes been feeding himself since 12 months old.
