| Not only is there not enough activites in my area but I have found that the moms that I do meet are always "too busy" to get togeather on a regular basis. |

| It's definitely hard to meet new moms with kids your kids' age. I think it's especially important to get along with the other mom(s) as well. It feels like most people are too busy to establish regular meet-ups. |

| Yes! It's either no one wants to meet for playdates or the working moms want to go out and spend money on the playdate. As a SAHM I can not do that. Just quit a group associated with this site becase NOTHING was happening. To each there own, but, it's been very hard meeting other moms, too busy I guess. I'm hoping that will change once our baby is in preschool. |

| I think my biggest challenge has been not only finding a group, but finding like-minded parents. I guess I shouldn't be too picky, but I would love to find a group of parents who are more like-minded. I hate forcing friendships with people just because they happen to be parents too. |

| I became a member of this site in hopes of meeting other SAHM in my area, with children close to my son's age. I tried to organize a "meet-up," and only one other parent showed. I will keep trying though!! |

| I am new to my area and I cant seem to find a play group anywhere close enough and if I find one that might work my husband needs the truck. |

| I just joined a Mom's group. Yesterday was the first activity I went to, and it was a lot of fun. They are even doing a once a month Mom's night out. So I am very excited about that. I just moved to IN from NJ and knew only my husbands family, so now I can go out and make my own friends and let my kids interact with other children. I am a shy person at first, so it is hard for me to make friends with people who I dont know anything about. |

| Yes , We love playdates. At the end if you continue going, you become friends. We are having fun, mommy and Sophia 8 mo old. |

| Yes it's hard for me not only am I very shy but with my husbands job we move fairly often the past few years. I've looked on the net for playgroups in Cedar Hill Texas but can only find ones in the surrounding areas I sure wish I could find one here in town. |

| I am moving to a new area this summer and I am so nervous about not knowing anyone. It took me forever to make friends where I am now, so I hope it is easier this time. |

There wen't any active groups in my area so I started a Group called Mommy, Take me Outside! (Just 2 days ago) there I just put up local events from the town and county webste. There I posted Farmers markets, park locations, and museums to visit. i am hoping to find people showing up if I just plan to go myself maybe someone will show up. They are all fun activities. I even want to set up a visit to a local farm.
Also at the famers market I am thinking about passing out mommy group flyers. You never know maybe people are just waiting for that "Hand out" :) |

My daughters are 5. I live in the suburbs of Illinois -- so, I would like to meet other moms for play dates. I also belonged to other moms groups but those kids are younger than mine.
Would love to meet other moms and their kids if close. (Not just via email.)

| I just joined so far it hasn't been easy but I would like to meet other mom's in the mobile area for playdates. I am a sahm so I can't afford to spend alot of money...but would love to maybe have a picninc or something at the park...or even like outings like going to the zoo or musuem... |

| if there are any moms out there in the Frederick MD area i have a new group "Frederick Co. Playgroupies 2011" please come and join my group. i would love to set up some play dates and get together and meet some new moms... |
