We don't go out for Valentine's day. To me it's not very romantic to wait for an hour or more to eat dinner. We prefer to stay home and enjoy a quiet night together.

We always go out to dinner with another couple we're close friends with...it's a nice tradition :)

It's my bday. So with three children I enjoy going out by myself and then coming home to a meal I did not have to cook and do not have to clean up! Shopping during the day and homebody at night it is truly the best of both worlds!

Only reason we didn't celebrate was cause my step kids were here. Once in a while we have one of the grandma's watch the baby, but to have grandma watch all three kids is a bit much. Besides I hate going out to eat ON Valentines Night cause all the restaurants are packed. My husband sent me some beautiful lavender roses, and a card. I got him a swiss army pocket knife, and a card. Gave my step kids cards and $5. Day after V-Day my husband took the day off and we went out to the Detroit area and bought a car. That was fun!

I like to do something fun for the kids. My husband and I don't need Valentine's Day because we are very close every day of the year!
