I put every night, but for us it is all day. One of my baby shower gifts was a book shelf and everyone that came brought a book. Emilie will always bring one (or several) to me and want to read them. I know almost all of them by heart now and so does she, LOL.

I answered bed time as well but my son loves books, we read several times a day, for my baby shower instead of cards we asked everyone to bring a book and write a message in it for our son. It was great because we already had Allen's name picked out so everyone wrote a little note to Allen on the first page. It was so much better than cards that would eventually get thrown away.

My son loves all the Martin books. We seem to read all day. We read after his meals because he seems to be calm & attentive -also it helps him not to bounce himself around & allows time to settle his stomach. He loves Thomas & Friends = Railway Rhymes.

Not only every night, but throughout the day. My son loves books and will usually sit for 2 or 3 stories in a row.

Everyday twice a day. Before naptime and before bedtime. My one year old loves books. We let him pick them out of his bookshelf.

Every night. We love to read. School has a binder that has a new book to read everyday in it. They send it home with the kids and that makes it fun. We always have something new.

I put every night but its really everyday...around the same time everyday we get out his book of colors and I read them to him and point to the things in the book. Of course he is only 6months and has no clue but he enjoys it, and he also tries to eat the book.

At bedtime. I also read to her at naptime and once or two more times just because it is good for her and she enjoys it.

We actually read to our daughter at nap time, and again at bed time. Sometimes she pulls out her books and reads them to herself. She LOVES her books!

I want to read to my children more. It's several times a week, but I'm working on a goal of reading one book to each child each day. When it comes to routines, I'm a total baby-stepper and I think that's a good start.

We read everyday and go to the library for story time once a week. My son loves to sit in my lap for a story or two. Sad that there are people who never read to their kids. ):

I love to read any childrens books to my 9 yr old son at night before he goes to sleep. Also we like to read chapter books together or silly books like The Stkinky Ch\eese Man, or any Golden Books or Dr. Seusses. I keep on buying and buying and buying them at Borders....I am addicted.LOL
