"Happy are those conscious of their spiritual need" (Matthew 5:3).
Teaching my children the importance of fulfilling their spiritual need, will hopefully make them happier adults.

I was brought up as a practicing Catholic, and my husband was brought up as a non-practicing Jew. We decided that our children would be baptised Catholic, and we would celebrate Christian holidays (Christmas/Easter), but would bring them up to follow the Golden Rule, and to simply believe that God is good. :)

Religion/faith of any kind is lacking in the world today. I believe that yes, living by the Golden Rule is essential, but being spiritual is something my children will be accustommed to..

ya know i was raised on religion baptised by 4 then again at 10 and i feel like it was forced on me so we decide that with our kids we will let them decide what they want to belive in we will tell them about god and all that but when they are old enough to understand it thats when we will go more in depth with it.

Both my husband and I are Christian non-denominational. We believe in baby dedication and then allowing them to decide once they get old enough to be baptised or not. You can't force them to do it or they will run from it. It is a choice I think. I will love them either way.

I am Catholic and my husband is Christian non-denominational. My husband is okay with the Catholic upbringing for our kids and I'm happy with that.

I think religion is very important, and while I did not get brought up with any religion, I feel that if you don't belief, your kids should be taught good morals and respect. I now consider myself a Christian, and I believe that if your kids are brought up with a sense of respect for others through religion, that it will make them and the world better! We definitely lack a lot of things these days, including what kids watch on TV, how they are raised and so much more influence them in a negative way.

I will teach them the basics and may have them join the groups that churches have for kids, I went to them and they were fun.

I am pagan, after many years of searching for what I believed as a teen and young adult. My husband is a very devote atheist. We agree that the children should be allowed to follow their own path. With this in mind, we attend a Unitarian Universalist church, so the kids can learn about the religions of the world, plus the kids and I attend open public rituals for the Sabbats, so they can see more of what I believe first hand. They are never forced to participate though.

Religion is very important. I just moved to Pride LA and was wondering if there is a Lutheran Church close by. My little girl is 1 years old and would like to get her in church as soon as possible. :) I'm also looking forward to attending myself again since we moved from Tx.
