This poll had a lot of good points, but it was hard to vote if you agreed with more than one of them. Perhaps break it down into several polls where you can give input on each issue?

I agree the poll didn't make a whole lot of sense...So this is my take on it. I am a big believer in adoption. To get approved to adopt is so difficult. I think that it should be just as difficult to become a foster parent. There are too many foster parents doing it for the checks. That is so wrong. These kids that end up in foster care, are almost always messed up in the head. I think these kids need a strong, compassionate, and patient person to care for them. Most importantly these foster parents need to be persistant. I also think that there should be a max of 2 children in a foster home. These kids need a lot of attention and having more than two kids make it difficult to focus on the child's emotional needs.

I dont understand what you are asking lol. It doesnt make sense. all the answers are questions. First the question is worded wrong. It should be something like Should there be so many foster homes? answers: yes, a lot of childrens need homes or no, it is getting out of hand. these could be all seperate surveys like other pp said.

I think the government should focus more on empty-nesters as potential foster parents. The older generation gets discredited a lot of the time when it comes to fostering. I wish people would realize that the older generation has something to offer too.

I don't really understand the polls but my thoughts is that the court system doesn't work and they really dont care about these kids...

I was a foster parent for 2 years the and system failed the kids that were placed with me! So I have little to no faith in our system. It has hardened me to ever want to take in another child and that to me is sad!

Re word the polls and I am sure you wold get better answers but this is how I feel!
