I really don't like to vote and I really don't know why. |

I just think it is not only our civic responsibility but also moral one. Imagine how many countries in the world people can not vote or their vote is meaningless.
It is a right that people have fought to obtain...and we just have to honor that fight once every 4 years. I really encourage you to vote!

i am pro life. if there were democratic candidates who were prolife, i would consider them. it's a big issue to me. i vote for the candidate, not the party. right now, it's still not an easy decision of which candidate. our primary is next week. |

I am very conservative where it counts. I am VERY pro life, I am pro death penalty, I am in great support of having a strong military. I am also ok with the government listening in on our phone conversations. I have nothing to hide, and I would like to be safe. I don't want another 911 to happen. So if that means someone is going to hear me on the phone planning my next work out with my sister in law... go right ahead! I am confused with my republican options. Nobody is really jumping out at me. I did like Barack as far as personality goes. He comes across as a honest and good man. But I have recently read that he voted against making Partial Birth abortions illeagal. Ok fine if you are pro killing babies....but killing them when they are in the 3rd trimester, and their little body is out and and their little legs and arms are thrashing around....People who are ok with this...who do this...They should be put to death in the same manner. As far as I see those people haven't made it past the hump and are still part animal. I am ashamed of the human race for this. |

I am as liberal as they come. I am a firm believer in minding my own business, so the issues of abortion, gay marriage and such don't bother me. If a gay couple want to get married, who am I to judge? And how will it affect me? It won't. It won't affect any of us. And abortion, albeit a touchy subject, I am not for ending pregnancies in their second or third trimesters, but if a woman doesn't want to have the pregnancy she shouldn't be forced to. It's unamerican. And the war, ugh! I am so over the war. I am over young boys coming home 90% burned. And I have seen this. My husband is a surgeon at a military hospital where all the boys are brought home for medical care. I have seen them with big, gaping wounds, barely recognizable because they are so badly burned. Usually 19 to 23 years old. It's sickens me. We needed to end this a long time ago. I am for Obama... I am for change. |

I'm a bit Libertarian, a bit Green, but I do like Obama! If he gets the Democratic nomination, I'll vote for him, but if Billary mucks it up with her cheating, sketchy funded politics as usual, I'll be voting a third party. |

I too vote mainly on the moral issues. I will vote Republican this year - although I don't always. Obama has too many negative things swirling around him and the fact that the media loves him scares me... I think we will be foolish to leave Iraq on a time frame. We are finally making progress. People get hurt and die in wars. My uncle fought in WWII and he was scarred but it was necessary and he would have done it again if he would have had too. |
