I really wanted a girl but I had a son instead and now looking in his eyes, I wouldn't change nothing. I'm glad that I got my little man.

I initially wanted a girl. I think I felt this way because I figured I would know how to raise a girl. I now have 2 boys and realize how much they love/need their mommas. I'm lovin' every minute.

I have older brothers and I always wanted a boy first ( my son will be two in Feb) but I know in my heart that had it been a girl I would have been just fine. You can never know the amount of instant love you feel for that child until you hold them and see them for the first time..

All I cared about was that the baby and I were healthy when it was all said and done.

I didn't really care, just wanted the baby to healthy! I had a boy, but when I got pregnant the second time, I intially wanted a girl, since I had a boy already, but I ended up with a boy! I am fine with my two boys, and feel content to have had them at all!

I wanted a boy and my husband wanted a girl and I won! I really wanted a boy because I grew up only with a twin sister and no boys around. I thought having a boy would be more fun because I'd never really experienced having a brother. I was SO right! Boys are little destructos! My son just wrecks everything in sight but I love him for it! :-) Hoping to have a girl next!

I went by the Chinese Lunar (Boy or Girl) Calendar when I was TTC our first child. We tryed on the days that would give us a boy and a few weeks months latter we found out we where having a boy! We where so very excited. Our son was born on July 31st 2007. I tryed the Chinese Lunar (Boy or Girl) Calendar on my aunts family and my mom's brother and sisters and me and my two brothers and it worked for all of them so that is why I tryed giving it a shot. I know it wont work for everyone or if you have twins. But so far it has worked for almost everyone in my family. I am planning to use the calendar again when we start trying for baby # 2 in 2012.

I wanted a girl but when I found out it was a boy, I was very happy. Now that I have a boy, I actually want another boy for my 2nd. All that really matters though is that they are healthy. I was so relieved that my son was healthy that I thanked (and continue to thank) God over and over (and I'm not a very religious person).

we didn't care as long as she was healthy. there were times that i wanted a girl and my husband wanted a boy but for the most part it didnt matter.

I wanted a boy then a girl, but I ended up having it backwards. I have a girl who is 14 months and a boy who is 2 months. They are less than a year apart. I wanted to have a boy first, so he can "watch out" for his lil sister, but I am sure he will still be able to do that with them being so close in age.

My husband lost a son in his first marriage, so I wanted a son first...and my prayers were answered. I then had identical-twin daughters because I wanted a girl next...so I got double the joy.

My first pregnancy came as a shock, as do first time young mothers. I didn't know by ultra sound what the baby was until birth. I kinda thought and really wanted a girl even though I bought everything in a unisex color like mint green. Then my liittle angel daughter was born. I had had dreams about what she'd look like and for the most part what I percieved her to look like, she did. Then after 13 long years of wanting another child, I finally got pregnant again and was so excited just to finally have another, but still hoped for a boy. That wish came true too. I feel like the luckiest mother alive. I also too looked at the chinese lunar calender in hind sight and the prediction for my daughter was correct and for my son. Pretty neat stuff.

My pregnancy came as a surprise bc I thought I was never going to have kids (I did want them, just medical reasons) but I did an amnio & it showed that my baby was fine, which for some reason I already knew that it was going to be ok but we decided to keep the sex of the baby secret. Everyone thought I was going to have a girl bc I was so small (I wanted a boy as my first) and I did have a feeling it was a boy - turns out I was right!

My wife just Knew we were having a girl that she went shopping and got the cutest pink furry winter coat and came home a little unsure if I would be upset about the purchase.
I told her as long as it can be dyed Blue in case of a boy then it was fine with me.
I just want happy and healthy babies, boys, girls, ya'
I'll take 'em. =).

I originally wanted a girl....but had such a tough pregnancy that when I was told that I was having a boy I was the happiest woman alive. I'm a single parent, and my son and I have the most fun together, wouldn't change it for the world.

When I knew for sure that I was pregnant, and after a few months had gone by, I just knew that I was having a girl. I found out for sure, but initially knew that I was having a girl and I did. I had my wonderful daughter.

We didn't want to know the sex of the baby until delivery time. It was so much fun guessing and to see what others thought it was going to be. The next time we will be trying for our second we will keep it a secret again. It was a GIRL!

My husband and I had tried to conceive for so long that when we found out we were expecting our first it didn't matter. Just that we were having a baby! We have a girl, but with our second I think he wanted a boy more than anything the 2nd time around, but we've been blessed with another girl (which I wanted...i love having a little girl)~ :)

with our 1st we didnt find out the gender and we didnt tell anyone until mothers day. with our 2nd we didnt find out the gender either and we waited to see how long it took family and friends to notice we were prego again. It didnt take my mom long she noticed during my sons 1st bday. my kids are 19 months apart. (sept 2008 son & April 2010 daughter)

we plan to have 2 more kids and close in age like our current kids. we wanna try again when daughter is about 2y(spril 2012) i told my husband we can do 4 kids as long as they are before im 30y. so that gives us aboue 4yr to have 2 mroe kids. ...not to bad.
