Whenever Jillian would cry my hubby would swaddle her and she would fall right back to sleep. |

A car ride always worked best for my son because he loved the vibration |

My son had colic for the first 5 months and the only thing that would stop him from crying was a car ride... |

She isn't much of a crier but when she does all you really have to do it rub her back and she calms down. |

I breastfed Donovan until he was 10 months but when he was a lil baby I would swddle him and give him "boobie"- he would calm down, eat, snuggle and pass out :)
Also music worked too. Different rock n roll made him sleep better LOL |

It was a long time ago, but I remember wrapping him in a blanket when he was a newborn. Fond memories! |

Being held is actually what worked the best for soothing when my girl was a newborn! I would actually strap her in the snugli carrier to go to the bank or for walks, or sometimes just hold her and dance around the house to music, and she was happy as a clam.
She found the motion of the stroller or car to be soothing enough to lull her to sleep, though we didn't do this with that in mind, it was just a by-product of the activity. |

Going for a walk in the stroller always calmed my little one down. If that didn't work, we'd take him for a ride in the car. Neither of which we could really do in the middle of the night, so we purchased a noise maker. Now our little boy falls asleep to waves every night. |

My daughter liked being swaddled but everything on the list exept a warm bath would do the trick, just to know that I was there. |

can't believe being held wasn't an option- that was huge for my firstborn when she was a baby. We would walk and hold her (all around town if we needed to!) So I picked in the stroller as the next best option... since it's walking :-) |
