Being a parent is a full time job, and if you can swing it, working part-time is the way to go. This way you have time away from being a mom, and bringing in income. Of course, there's daycare expenses, unless you have genrous relatives close by. |

I really hate depending on my husband to pay for everything but if I went back to work full time, then my paycheck would go for childcare. So we have it worked out that I would be a stay at home mom til he goes to school full time. |

I would love to have a part time job so i could have some spending money and not have to depend on my husband for everything. but the cost of child care is so much i dont see me getting a job until my girls start school. |

I don't care if I ever go back to work or not. I've worked at least one job ever since I was 14. I'm enjoying the past 18 months of not working. I don't even want to work when both are in school full time because I'd prefer to spend a lot of time in the school helping out and being active in their educations. But, of course, if I need to work, I certainly will. And who knows, after a few years off, I may change my mind and want to go back. But right now, I say "no way." LOL |

I currently work part time. I would love to be a SAHM but with my husband recently getting fired, he says no way! So I am currently working on starting up an at home daycare so I can be with my daughter and still be making money! |
