We're not Christian so I'd say it is as important for my kids to know who Jesus is as any other mythological character. Maybe a tiny bit more though, since he's pretty popular in our culture. |

I am not personally a very religious person and preach it to my children. But, I know that there are so many religions and so many who follow something in their lives, and one day my children are going to ask, whether we teach them ourselves or not. It is better to hear something from you first, then to ask questions later and have no answers. |

I am not religious either, my son was baptized Lutheran, my husband and I really don't have time to go to church with us running our business. When we his older, I will teach him who Jesus is and what he did. |

If I teach my kids nothing else, they will know who Jesus is. My prayer is that they come to know Him, and not just of Him. I am a believer and follower of Christ, and I try to teach the children to love God and love others, putting others ahead of themselves. Everything else falls into place then. my inspiration: mark 12:30. That's what I believe. |

I believe that it is important for children to learn about everyones beliefs even if it isn't ours. They need to be sensitive to other peoples beliefs. |
