I had said brushing teeth, because my little one keeps moving her head around, or just wants to suck the toothpaste off the brush, but grocery shopping is getting to be a challenge now too, since she will be 2 years old next week. Now that you mention it, nailclipping isn't easy either..you're right. |

My son has gotten use to running around the store because my husband can't stand him crying. So our shopping takes twice as long because we have to stop and run after him. |

I have to say my son was pretty easy but I put down brushing his teeth. He HATES/HATED me touching his teeth. Especially when they were popping out so brushing them was hard. I have had him playing with a toothbrush since before he had teeth so he has the routine down now at 2.
Oh and I agree with Christine- nail clipping is a pain as well :) |

I hate nail clipping too, especially after an incident where I did make a small cut :( to her finger, now I am down right paranoid. The grocery store got a lot easier when she could sit up in the cart. |

I would have to say diaper changing is the biggest challenge. She does not fight me to get into the changing table, but once there it is a run for the money on her cooperation in staying still. Once complete her ability to undo the diaper these days is quite an issue. So, Mommy has to move with lightening speed to close her snaps or whatever the contraption for the day may be. She is only 17 months old, so I know it will get worse with time. She is okay to take to the grocery store as I have the cart cover that keeps her from standing up, but my husband is not quite as instinctive as a Mother and she picked up on this. Now she likes to stand in the front compartment of the cart while his is in attendance with us. I was so livid about this b/c she never acts like this with me. But, I try to make our grocery store adventure as short as possible. |

I picked grocery shopping cause it seams to take longer than I think it should and Victoria is 14 months and likes to walk around and not sit in the cart. Changing a diaper can be challaging as well but it is not that bad. |

For all those difficult mail clipping kids, TRY cutting you're own nails in front of him, show him it doesnt hurt and it's no big deal. This works for my 2yr old boy, he allows only one hand at a time but I get both done by the end of the day! My ten month old girl, EVERYTHING IS HARD. Changing diaper because she squirms like she's on fire, feeding her usually throws me over the edge at the end of the day, getting her to sleep thru the night, and just this week grocery shopping is getting more stressful. |

SHOPPING in general...actually...going ANYWHERE. My daughter is not one to be content to stay seated in her stroller or cart for any amount of time. She must always be on the go, running here running there. Good grief...gotta love her. |

Brushing teeth, and shopping in the mall! I have to hold my 2 year old daughter down to brush her teeth, she likes to try to do it herself, but she doesn't do a good enough job so I have to redo it, and she HATES IT!
Shopping with one child is fine, but shopping with a 2 and 3 year old is pure torture! But, it's saving us money cuz I only attempt the mall with them once a year, in the fall, and the purpose for that is to try on coats. Otherwise, i'll just wait until I can go alone. |

My daughter flips out completely when I even go near the changing table! (she has a temper!) And oddly behaves great for toothbrushing. I file her nails mostly rather than clip and let her "file" mine and she seems fascinated by it (11 months old), I had a friend who used to bite her newborns nails :) Not sure about the toes LOL |

I'm surprised that going to the store got so many votes.(I chose teeth brushing) Well if it is only the baby (15 mos.) its pretty easy to shop, but when I have everyone its next to impossible. It is easier and more cost effective to shop alone or with a kid or two. |

Logan is really good when we are out unless she is tired then she gets fussy and wont go to sleep because she might miss something. I picked 'changing their diaper' because its already a messy situation and then with them wiggling and rolling around it can get really really messy! LOL |

With my daughter, changing her diaper is a big challenge be cause she likes to kick and sometimes she ends up kicking me. She also hates to be put down to get changed so she will cry most of the time. I have found that if I give her a toy or talk to her in a goofy voice she settles down at times. I do have to agree that clipping her nails is a struggle too. Also cleaning her nose out. |

Ugh! My little guy HATES having his diaper changed. He starts freaking out as soon as we walk into his room. He'll scream kick, squirm, wriggle, fling himself about. OCCASIONALLY he'll calm down long enough while i play peek a boo with him, but very rarely.. handin him a toy before hand doesnt help either because he just throws it down once hes on the changing table. |

I guess I'm super lucky. My 16 m old actually wanted her nails done last night, trimming AND painting! She also lays on the floor right after she has a BM. My 2 yr old loves having her hair done and going shopping. |

Since this survey was geared toward "infant care", I had to choose driving in a car because when an infant is screaming to be fed, it's hard to pull it over and whip it out!
As they get older, the other things listed can be more difficult. |

Trimming my sons nails is the worst thing ever because he won't sit still long enough to cut them then he cries because you are holding his hand to long and he can't move!! |

I had to say getting them dressed. Both of my kids prefered to be naked. They hated to put clothes on. I was lucky by the end of the day if they still had diapers and a shirt on. They learned to strip early and often. Luckily they grew out of that. |

i cant answer this one because i dont find any of these things mentioned to be difficult at all with an infant. maybe i just got lucky with my daughter but even with my friends kids ive never had a problem with these things. |
