Before I was a mom I loved Thanksgiving (no shopping and all you have to do is eat and watch football) but since becoming a mom I have to say Christmas because it is so magical for children.

I love Thanksgiving! There's no hectic morning to wake up to and we get to sit around with family and stuff ourselves till we pop! I love having an excuse to eat meals with all of our family(extended and more)

I like Christmas mainly because it's usually the only holiday I don't have to work!

It's hard for me to pick just one because I love them all. My greatest joy is getting together with family.

I love Christmas because it reminds me of my childhood and I love to try to give my kids those wonderful memories I had. And it gives me a chance to teach my kids about the Lord.

Christmas, definately! We spend the whole day, just the 4 of us, opening gifts, putting toys together, and playing with them. And since we do all our visiting the weekend before, my husband and I get to sip on Mamosa's by the fire and watch the children's faces light up!!

christmas becuse that is the day that JESUS was born and being that we are christian that day is really important to us as a family and also we like opening up our gifts

Christmas has all the joy of the other holidays wrapped into one. It is spiritual and physical. It is food and family. It is thanksgiving and celebration. It is wonder and hope. It is sharing and giving. It is contemplative and joyous music. The Christmas now is part of the Christmas past and future.
It makes us be who we should be. I can't imagine where and what would I be without it.

Halloween is our favorite holiday of the year. I always make our costumes, which is carrying on the tradition that my mom started with my brother and me. Other holidays are usually tarnished by family get-togethers that go awry.

for me, it's got to be Christmas! We go to visit extended family, and almost everyone has the day off from whatever job they have. If we spend that Christmas out of town at Grandma's, it's so fun staying at her house for a few days. I can't wait to experience a first Christmas holiday with my baby!

I just love Christmas. Easter would be my second.

I love Christmas because it is a day to celebrate Christ's birth. Everyday, we celebrate Christ but Christmas seems so magical for that reason! Easter is a close second because it always reminds me of how loved and blessed I am by God!

All Holidays are fun, but our son just celebrated his 2nd Halloween, and it's been so fun dressing him up - last year as a 3 month old Tiger, and this year as Superman...adorable! :)

i really like all the holidays with my kids......but mothers day is a great day....because every year me, my mom, and my 2 boys go to the zoo...the hubby comes too when he is home...which isnt too often.because the boat is out or he is on duty..but we still enjoy it because i get to spend the day with my kids and my mom.and my mom gets to spend the day with me and her grandkids....which is great because it doesnt happen too often

That was a tough one cause I think my favorite holiday has always been Halloween. Now that I am getting older, I still decorate the inside and outside of the house with all sorts of spooky stuff, but I don't dress up anymore. I am starting to enjoy Christmas more because I have a larger house that I am able to have several Christmas trees to decorate and make pretty. Plus my two step kids have little 4' trees for their rooms and they get to decorate it themselves. They get a real kick out of it.

Christmas has to be my favorite holiday. I know this sounds dumb but I like to waite till almost the end to get the gifts I get a thrill in getting last minute gifts. I know most people like to get things done early and dont get me wrong I do get some things early cause there is jsut to many people to shop for. But seeing my kids open the gifts and getting excited is fun also

I'm a huge holiday person. I LOVE THEM ALL!!! Christmas & Easter are among my favorites ... seeing my kids faces when they open their gifts on both days are the best gift I could ever be given!!! I'm also a big fan of their birthdays b/c its a day just about them!!!

It really is a toss up between Thanksgiving and Christmas. I choose Thanksgiving because it's easier for us as a family. All of my husbands family live in Europe and don't celebrate Thanksgiving so there's no reason to feel guilty about having to pick one side of the family over the the other to spend the time with. Christmas, though it's a magical time, for our family it always means being away from one side of the family.

That was a hard choice christmas is my favorite holiday but i have to say thanksgiving is the holiday i look forward to now cause all my husband relatives who live out of state come in for thanksgiving, so its a chance to see everybody all the kids get to play with each other. Its the best.

Its a toss up between Christmas & Thanksgiving. All of us get together on Thanksgiving so that would be my choice for us being together. We are all older now with kids & its hard to get together on Christmas.

Mine is Thanksgiving because we get to sit down and eat and not have to worry about presents and stuff like that.

On the 4th of July we gather at my sister-in-laws house, play frisbee, eat BBQ, color with sidewalk chalk, have water balloon fights, and, of course, set off fireworks. It's nearly a ten year tradition now, and we always have a blast!

this was a hard choice for me because I LOVE Christmas and Halloween BUT with family I would have to say Christmas. We have a big get together with my family and with my in-laws. I love to watch the kids(my nieces and nephews and cousins *not my son yet*) open their presents, they are so excited and it reminds me of when I was a kid and was SOOOOO excited. I think Christmas brings out the kid in everyone....or it should

Although I like Christmas with my family, I enjoy the 4th of July just as much if not more. During that time, there are no constraints as to what to do and my aunt and uncle shoot off the big fireworks in their back yard. They have their pyrotechnician's license and a 5 acre lot to be able to do it so it's a lot of fun.
