My husband and his family are the most anti-social people I have ever met and I am a complete social butterfly (not sure how the match happened that way) so I really try to focus on the socializing for my son and am secretly hoping my husband will follow suit. |

I have a medical child and it is very important that I get him out in the world and play with others so he does not feel like he is any different. Plus his father is from Africa and I am American it is very hard with two different cultures. |

Who doesn't like to interact? So, starting them young helps them socially and mentally for when they get older. They do what they see, right? |

i love watching my kids interact with other kids....but the thing is when we go to my friends house they tend to interact with each other more..maybe its because they are sooo close in age. |

I think its important to have a mixture of both alone time and outside play time with others. And I too, love seeing my children interact with others.. especially when it comes to their manners! When they use them, I see that all my lecturing hasn't been in vain. |

I feel that kids need to learn how share and be apart of a group of kids so they now how to treat each other or they wont know how to act when they go to school or even daycare!!! |

im a stay at home mom to an 16 month old only child, and theres not alot of people I know or trust with child that i want her to play or be around. I sometimes feel really bad about it, so i take her to our local park every chance I get and you would never know shes not around other kids very often because she walks up to them touches them and says "see?" to me. lol i do feel its very important for her to interact with other children, but all my mommy friends are no longer living in maryland and i haven't found any other moms my age with a child brennas age. |

I think its very important for a child to be able to be interactive amongst his or her mate for this will make the child to build his or her confidence |
